Hello Divers and families,
We are so excited to start the summer season of dive. Practices start on Monday morning!! Please see below for times and season schedules. We are trying something new with the scoring table this year, and will only need 2 volunteers where in the past we needed 4! Very exciting. We are excited to welcome Audrey Maffeo as our assistant dive coach, and so glad to have Coach Emily back with us! We are hosting the big All City Meet this year, this will mean all hands on deck for volunteering. If anyone is excited about decorating please let me know ;this is something I am not great at. We are going to have a fantastic season. I’m so excited to see all the returning faces and new faces on the board.

Dive Team Information:
Registration - All families must complete two steps to register:
- Team Fees and waivers:Register and pay your team dues via the GSSC website: https://gregoryseahurst.com/teams-registration/
- Communication and Volunteer Sign Up: Register your athlete and family on SwimTopia: http://gregory.swimtopia.com
Meet Attendance:
Please plan to attend all dive meets, including the All City meet. It is a short and fast season so please prioritize all four meets.
All City Dive Meet:
This is a full day event and we typically send the majority of our divers. The top 6 divers from each diving group (e.g. top 6 8&U boys and top 6 8&U girls) will compete for each of the four teams in our league.
Communication and Volunteer Management:
All communication will happen via email through SwimTopia. Please ensure all adults who wish to receive emails and sign up for volunteer jobs register in SwimTopia as well. Contact Mariah ([email protected]) if you need help or have questions.
Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities:
All families are required to volunteer to run our dive meets.You may select which role you would like to work by signing up on SwimTopia. Dive meet volunteer opportunities include:
- Judges - 6 judges for home meets (3 each half), 4 judges for away meets and All City (2 each half)
- Scoring Table for home meets - 8 volunteers for a dual meet and 2 for All City.
- Announcer for home meets (2) - 1st half and 2nd half
- Ribbons for home meets (2) - 1st half and 2nd half
- Concessions for home meets (4) - 1st half and 2nd half
- Decorations/Meet set up for home meets (2-4)
- National Anthem Singer for home meets (1) - please contact Mariah to audition.
